BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – With just one round officially in the books, the No. 25 West Virginia University golf team sits in second place at The Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational at Pete Dye Golf Club on Monday.

Due to the change, Tuesday's play will begin in a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. with players finishing the remaining holes of the second round and heading directly into the third.
WVU shot a six-over-par 294 as a team to sit two strokes back from leader Florida Atlantic, who finished the first round with a 292 for four-over. Unofficially, the Mountaineers are five-over-par and one stroke behind the Owls. Southern Miss is in third at 19 over par.
