MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University tennis team will continue its three-game swing in Morgantown against George Washington on Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Summit Tennis Academy.
Saturday's match is slated to begin at 1 p.m. ET. Free pizza and WVU Tennis posters will be available to all fans attending the match on Saturday. Fans also are encouraged to stay after the match for an autograph signing with the team. Live stats for the match can be found here.
"Obviously, we are looking to go into the weekend and be successful, and are looking to overcome the opponent," fifth-year coach Miha Lisac said. "For us to be able to accomplish that, we have to nail down some of the final things when it comes to the team matches."
The match marks the 24th meeting between the two schools, with the Colonials holding a 13-10 advantage over the Mountaineers in a series that dates back to 1982.
GW enters the matchup with a 3-1 record after dropping a match last weekend against Navy, 4-3, and besting Temple, 6-1, in Washington D.C.
Senior Lyn Yuen Choo leads the Mountaineers this season with a 2-0 record in singles play at the No. 3 position. The freshmen tandem of Giovanna Caputo and Anne-Sophie Courteau have a 1-1 record this season to pace WVU in doubles play.
