
Lisac Announces 2018 Signee

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – West Virginia University women's tennis coach Miha Lisac announced that Nicole Roc has signed a national letter of intent for the 2018-19 academic year.
Roc is rated as a five-star recruit, according to Tennisrecruiting.net, and reached her highest ranking of No. 39 in January 2017. She is currently ranked No. 74 in the nation, the seventh-rated player in the Great Lakes region and the No. 4 player in the state of Illinois.
"We are excited to add Nicole to our family," said Lisac. "Nicole is a winner on the tennis courts and brings a wealth of experience from her junior career as well as a huge drive to challenge herself academically. Nicole is going to continue to add to our program and culture on and off the tennis courts."
Roc, a native of Chicago, Illinois, won the 2017 Illinois class 1A State Championship after being named the No. 1 seed. Her title marked the first in Northside College Prep's school history. She finished her scholastic playing career with a 22-0 record.
