MORGANTOWN, W.Va – The West Virginia University women’s tennis team will travel to Little Rock, Arkansas, to compete in the Little Rock Classic from September 23-25.
“We are looking forward to the level of competition,” fourth-year coach Miha Lisac said. “This is a good opportunity for us to get better in singles and doubles.”
The tournament consists of four teams: West Virginia, Arkansas, and Big 12 foes Kansas and TCU all will play in three flights of singles with two players in each flight. There will also be a flight of doubles. Each player will play through the round robin style tournament regardless if they win or lose.
The Mountaineers will kick the tournament off on Friday at 10 a.m. ET at the Little Rock Country Club.
