I would personally like to thank everyone for the unbelievable weekend we just completed in the new ballpark. It was an incredible baseball atmosphere and I know I can speak on behalf of my staff and players when I say thank you to everyone who had a hand in the grand opening. From the WVU administration, to the event staff, marketing, ticketing, parking and concessions, I didn’t think it could’ve gone any better. But most of all, thanks to the fans for coming out and setting an attendance record for WVU baseball in Morgantown. You are the reason why our kids play as hard as they do and try to win as much as they do, to make you guys, and all Mountaineer fans everywhere proud. We look forward to more great crowds and more great games in the future. And speaking of the future, it looks really bright for Mountaineer baseball!
