Variety of Promos Set for WBB Senior Day

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women’s basketball team closes out the 2014-15 regular season slate on Sunday, March 1, versus No. 24-ranked Texas at 1 p.m. A variety of promotions are slated for the season finale.
Most notably, WVU will hold its annual Senior Day, honoring Mountaineer seniors Averee Fields, Crystal Leary and Linda Stepney. Admission to Sunday’s contest is $1 courtesy of United Bank.
Sunday is also Fan Appreciation Day. Small drinks and small popcorn are just $1 each. Foam fingers, pom-poms and other promotional items will be available to fans while supplies last.
At halftime, the Troy Pop Rocks Jump Rope Team presented by Coke Zero will perform. Fans are invited to bring new or gently used teddy bears and other stuffed animals to the game to toss on the court. All donated items will be distributed by the City of Morgantown Police and Monongalia County Sherriff’s Office to child victims of crime and trauma.
