Men’s Soccer Releases Spring Schedule

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University men's soccer coach Marlon LeBlanc has announced a six-game spring schedule, highlighted by five home matches and a game against the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer.
“The spring season really gives us a chance to further develop our student-athletes and allows them to see different competition,” LeBlanc said. “We look forward to renewing some rivalries such as Pitt and Marshall, and of course our alumni.”
The spring season opens up with a game against Pitt on Sunday, April 12 at 3:30 p.m., followed by home matches against Marshall on Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. and Duquesne on Sunday, April 19 at noon.
The annual alumni match will be played on Friday, April 24 at 7 p.m., while the match against the Crew is set for Sunday, April 26 at 10 a.m. in Columbus, Ohio. This will be the fifth-consecutive season WVU has played an MLS team.
The schedule culminates with a game against WVU Tech on Friday, May 1 at 7 p.m.
All home matches will be played at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium and admittance will be free.
