MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Coach Bob Huggins is one of 16 Division I basketball coaches to advance to the third round of the Infiniti Coaches’ Charity Challenge.
Voting begins today and runs until March 1 to help Huggins move into the Final Four of the Infiniti Coaches’ Charity Challenge.
To vote, go to ESPN.com/Infiniti. Fans can vote once a day and voting ends at 11:59 a.m. on Sunday, March 1.
The winner of the contest gets $100,000 for his charity. Huggins’ charity is the Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Fund, and the funds will go directly to the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center in Morgantown.
The Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Fund, named in honor of Huggins’ late mother who died of colon cancer in 2003, was started to aid in cancer research and to help families around the state of West Virginia dealing with cancer.
“When Mountaineer fans vote for me, they’ll be voting to find new and better treatments for cancer and bringing hope to those afflicted with the disease,” said Huggins.
