Brandon Watkins Injury Update

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University men’s basketball sophomore forward Brandon Watkins suffered a left knee medial collateral ligament (MCL) sprain in Wednesday night’s 76-72 win over Kansas State. His status is listed as day-to-day.
A 6-foot-8 forward from Decatur, Georgia, Watkins had a career-high 14 points and nine rebounds in 17 minutes of action against the Wildcats. His 14 points and nine rebounds were both team highs.
No. 21 West Virginia is back in action on Saturday at No. 14 Iowa State at 4 p.m.
