Limited Coliseum Parking Friday Night

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – With several events scheduled in and around the WVU Coliseum on Friday, Nov. 20, the following information should assist the general public with parking arrangements that day.
The men’s basketball team will play host to Stetson in the WVU Coliseum on Friday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m., while the women’s soccer team will host two NCAA Tournament second-round matches on Friday at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. West Virginia’s game will be at 6 p.m. vs. Northwestern.
Coliseum parking on Friday will be extremely limited. Fans attending the soccer game can park in the Natatorium lot for free up to 6 p.m., and then a $10 charge will take effect for the Natatorium lot. Parking in all other Coliseum lots will be $10 on Friday starting at 5 p.m.
Students who have classes on the Evansdale campus on Friday may park for free in designated Coliseum lots until 5 p.m. Space is limited.
WVU staff working at the Coliseum will be allowed to park for free during the day until 5 p.m.
To offset this parking loss during the day, all are reminded that short-term parking is available at the Alumni Center, Mountaineer Station on Van Voorhis Road, at a variety of short-term lots on the Evansdale campus and in downtown parking garages and lots operated by the Morgantown Parking Authority. All of these alternatives have easy access to the PRT and Mountain Line bus system, which is free to WVU students, faculty and staff.
