WBB Hosts Baylor for Family Day and Gold Rush

The West Virginia University women's basketball team opens home Big 12 action against No. 5 Baylor on Saturday, Jan. 10. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. at the WVU Coliseum. Saturday is Coca-Cola Family Day and Gold Rush presented by Coke Zero.
The family day package includes four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and a popcorn for just $25 at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME. Family Day packages must be purchased before 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, and will not be available on game day. Tickets at the gate are $5 for adults and $3 for youth/senior citizens.
It’s also a Gold Rush presented by Coke Zero. Coke Zero will distribute 2,500 pom-poms at the game and all fans are encouraged to wear gold. The men’s basketball team will play No. 17 Iowa State later Saturday night at 8 p.m. Separate game tickets are needed for each event. Family Day packages are only valid for the women’s game.
Parking will be free in the lots at the WVU Coliseum for the women’s game. All vehicles must be cleared from Coliseum parking lots following the conclusion of the women’s game by 6 p.m., as the men’s basketball game vs. Iowa State follows at 8 p.m. Women’s basketball season ticket holders with a women’s parking pass will be directed into the appropriate lot.
