Rifle Receives Championship Rings

The No. 1-ranked West Virginia University rifle team received their 2014 NCAA Championships rings in front of a sold-out crowd at the WVU Coliseum during the WVU vs. TCU game on Saturday, Jan. 24.
University President E. Gordon Gee presented rifle coach Jon Hammond and each member of last year’s winning team with the rings during a break in the first half of the game.
The back-to-back, nation-best 16 time national champions compete in two head-to-head matches against No. 2 Alaska-Fairbanks this weekend, Jan. 31-Feb. 1, at the E.F. Horton Rifle Range in Fairbanks, Alaska.
