Men’s Soccer to Hold Tryouts

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University men’s soccer team will hold walk-on tryouts for the 2015 season on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 9:30 p.m., at the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility located adjacent to Milan Puskar Stadium.
All WVU students interested in trying out should bring proper training attire, including cleats and shin guards. The tryout will last an hour.
Interested students must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credits each semester) at WVU and have remaining NCAA eligibility. In order to tryout you must bring the following paperwork to the WVU men’s soccer office in Room 303 of the WVU Natatorium by Friday, Feb. 20:
- A copy of your spring 2015 class schedule,
- A completed compliance tryout form (click here for the form),
- A physical within the past six months that is signed by the doctor, and
- A copy of your insurance card.
There will be two forms to sign before stepping on the field. Please be on time.
Potential candidates are encouraged to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Participants without the aforementioned requirements will not be allowed to tryout.
