IRVING, Texas – Big 12 women’s basketball will appear on ESPN2 three times during the 2014-15 season.
All three matchups will feature Conference teams that finished in the top three of the league standings last season. Baylor and West Virginia shared the 2013-14 Big 12 regular season title while Texas tied for third. Baylor also captured the trophy at the 2014 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship.
The Lady Bears will travel to Texas on Sunday, February 8 in the first ESPN2 outing. One week later Baylor hosts West Virginia, which ended BU’s 35-game home Big 12 win streak last season. Texas visits West Virginia in the third matchup on March 1 in the final week of regular season play.
