Thank you Mountaineer Nation for your wonderful support at the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta! It was great to see more than 25,000 of the greatest fans in the world, decked out in their best Old Gold and Blue, inside the Georgia Dome on Saturday. I also know those of you who couldn't make the trip to Atlanta were behind us as well.

I can tell you the Mountaineers left a great impression on the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game organizers as they were extremely complimentary during my conversations with them this weekend. It's gratifying to me as an alumnus and as your Athletic Director to hear such wonderful things about Mountaineer fans.

It was exciting to start another college football season on such a big stage knowing Mountaineer Nation had our back.

As you saw in Saturday's performance Coach Holgorsen and our team have put in a lot of hard work in the offseason and we look forward to continuing that work as we open the home season this week against Towson.

Thank you again for your support in Atlanta and I look forward to seeing you in Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium Saturday night!
