In the New York-Penn League rankings, Boyd is No. 2 in batting average, No. 3 in on-base percentage, No. 7 in hits and No. 10 in stolen bases.

On July 21, he was issued a loss, allowing five runs on nine hits with two strikeouts. He picked up a no-decision on July 27, allowing two runs on four hits with three strikeouts.

It is expected that Gyorko will be activated from the DL today.
