Rifle Duo Closes ISSF World Cup

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University junior Meelis Kiisk, along with Mountaineer coach Jon Hammond, shot prone in the closing days of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Fort Benning World Cup, held in Fort Benning, Ga.
Kiisk, a Paide, Estonia, native, finished 25th in the first elimination relay on April 1 with a 616.4 score. Hammond, a native of Aberdeen, Scotland, finished 12th in the second elimination relay with a score of 618.5.
The competition final was held today, and Germany’s Henri Junghaenel finished first with a 208.9 score.
The next ISSF World Cup will be held June 4-13 in Munich, Germany.
