MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Extra Tenth is back in 2014! A blog dedicated to the West Virginia University gymnastics team, a different Mountaineer will be featured each week.
This season’s fifth edition features sophomore Lindsey Litten. A transfer out of Central Michigan, Litten has found a spot in the Mountaineers’ bars lineup, as she has competed in three of the team’s four meets this year and is expected to see action tonight at Iowa State.
A York, Pa., native, Litten has scored a season-high 9.65 twice. In addition to her work on bars, she is pushing for a lineup spot on beam and could see competition time this season.
The Mountaineers (4-3) open their Big 12 Conference season against the Cyclones tonight, at 7:30 p.m. ET, at Hilton Coliseum, in Ames, Iowa. The meet is the squad’s first regular-season Big 12 competition away from the WVU Coliseum.
