MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Throughout the next few weeks, we will be announcing the West Virginia University signing class with one signee per day.

Blake Baxendale, C, 6-3, 215, Rogers, Ark./Crowder College (Mo.)

Will be attending Crowder College (Mo.) for the 2015 season
Spent two seasons at Arkansas (2013-14), appearing in 34 games with 26 starts in 2014
Batted .290 with seven doubles, one home run and 21 RBIs
Posted a career high five RBI with a grand slam home run and a double at No. 8 LSU on April 13
Missed the final 15 games of the season due to injury
Previous attended Rogers Heritage High, where he was ranked as the 233rd best prospect nationally and the fourth-best prospect in Arkansas by Perfect Game
Named the 2012 Baseball Player of the Year and was selected to the All-Arkansas team by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
Brother, D.J., is a right-handed pitcher in the Minnesota Twins organization
