MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Senior Andy Bevin of the WVU men’s soccer team has been named the Mid-American Conference Co-Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for his seven-point performance last week.
He assisted on the game-winning goal in the eighth minute with a free kick into the box against Penn. On Senior Day, Bevin scored all three goals against Buffalo for his first career hat trick. He now has a team-leading 12 goals, eight assists and 32 points. Additionally, he is No. 1 in the MAC and No. 2 in the NCAA in points.
Bevin led the Mountaineers to a pair of shutout wins, winning 1-0 at Penn on Tuesday and then winning 3-0 against Buffalo on Saturday.

For his career at WVU, he is ranked No. 3 in assists (19), No. 5 in points (79) and No. 7 in goals (30). Among active career NCAA leaders, Bevin is No. 6 in points, No. 6 in goals and No. 11 in assists.
The WVU men’s soccer team completes the regular season at Western Michigan on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m.
