MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching on Thursday, the following Mountaineer Ticket Office information will assist fans in purchasing tickets for the upcoming men’s and women’s basketball games this week.
The Mountaineer Ticket Office will be closed Wednesday and Thursday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, and will reopen on Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. Tickets for all home men’s and women’s basketball games will be available online at WVUGAME.com throughout the Thanksgiving holiday week.
Saturday’s home men’s game vs. College of Charleston at 7:30 p.m. will be a Coca-Cola Family Day. Four tickets, four hot dogs, four cokes and a bucket of popcorn can purchased for only $60. Fans are reminded that this Family Day package must be purchased by 5 p.m. on Friday and is not available on game day. Family Day packages also can be purchased online at WVUGAME.com throughout the Thanksgiving holiday week.
The Mountaineer women’s basketball team will play two games in the Coliseum this week --Wednesday at 7 p.m. vs. Evansville, and Saturday at 2 p.m. vs. Fairfield. Tickets for the women’s basketball games are $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and youth under 18 and $2 per ticket for groups of 10 or more. Saturday’s contest is not a scheduled doubleheader with the men’s game and will require a separate ticket for admission.
Tickets for Wednesday’s men’s basketball game vs. VMI at the Charleston Civic Center will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday by calling 304-345-SHOW or in-person at the Civic Center box office. The contest against VMI is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.
