MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia plays host to 12th-ranked Kansas State tonight at Milan Puskar Stadium. It will be the final home appearance for 19 seniors:

Tonight’s game will kickoff at 7 p.m. and will be televised nationally on FOX Sports 1 (Tim Brando and Joel Klatt). The Mountaineer Sports Network from IMG’s coverage begins with the Mountaineer Tailgate Show beginning at 5:30 p.m.

10 – West Virginia has lost only TEN times (out of 80 games) since 2002 when winning the turnover battle.
9 – Earlier this year, West Virginia’s defense held Kansas to just NINE total first downs – the second time this season the Mountaineers held an opponent to fewer than 10 first downs in a game (Towson, 7).
8 – With one more win it will be the 16th time under veteran coach Bill Snyder that Kansas State has won at least EIGHT games in a season, including four straight dating back to 2010.
7 –Quarterback Clint Trickett continues to lead the Big 12 Conference in 300-yard passing games with SEVEN. He has thrown for more than 300 yards in nine out of his 18 career games played at WVU.
6 – Sophomore Josh Lambert has successfully kicked SIX field goals of 44 yards or longer so far this season, including four of 50 yards or longer.
5 – Tonight’s game against Kansas State will be the FIFTH top-15-ranked team West Virginia has faced this year. The others are Alabama, Oklahoma, Baylor and TCU.
4 – West Virginia is FOUR games above .500 in games played on Thursday (35-31-3 overall).
3 – Clint Trickett ranks THIRD nationally with 3,173 yards passing heading into tonight’s game.
2 – Kansas State is ranked SECOND in the country this week in fewest yards penalized with 290. The Wildcats are also third in fewest penalties per game at 3.56.
1 – West Virginia continues to rank FIRST in the country in most third down conversions this year with 79.
