MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – With a 2-1 win at Western Michigan on Saturday, the WVU men’s soccer team earned the No. 2 seed in the Mid-American Conference Championship from Nov. 14-16.
The championship will be held at FirstEnergy Stadium – Cub Cadet Field, the home of No. 1 seed Akron. The semifinal match will be played on Friday, Nov. 14, while the final game is Sunday, Nov. 16.
The Mountaineers will battle No. 3 seed Bowling Green at 4 p.m. on Friday, before Akron hosts No. 4 Western Michigan at 7 p.m. Sunday’s championship match is set for a 1 p.m. start.
Tickets are now on sale for the tournament with reserved tickets for $15 with general admission tickets priced at $10. One ticket will gain fans admission to both games on Friday, Nov. 14, while a separate ticket will be required for the championship match.
