Jack Elliott of the West Virginia University men’s soccer team were named to the 2014 Capital One Academic All-District 2 Men’s Soccer Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
“This is the first time we have had multiple players earn this honor,” coach Marlon LeBlanc said. “For Andy, I have said all along that there is no one better that represents West Virginia University both on and off the field. Jack has been a mainstay on the back line the past two years and to have a perfect 4.0 is impressive.”

A native of Napier, New Zealand, Bevin boasts a 3.94 grade point average (GPA) in management information systems. On the pitch, Bevin leads West Virginia in points (26), goals (9) and assists (8).
Elliott has a 4.0 GPA and is majoring in geography. The London, England, native, has started all 16 games this season and has one goal and two assists for four points.
