MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ 41-7 win over Georgia State on Saturday, Sept. 14.
Offensive Champion – Daikiel Shorts; Defensive Champion – Nick Kwiatkoski; Special Teams Champion – Daryl Worley; Offensive Scout Champion – Elijah Wellman; Defensive Scout Champion – Jewone Snow.
West Virginia (2-1) travels to Baltimore, Md., to face Maryland (3-0) in its final non-conference game of the year at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 3:30 p.m. The game will be televised live on ESPNU.
