Men’s Soccer Set to Take on Villanova

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia men’s soccer team will square off against Villanova in its final exhibition match Friday afternoon. The game will take place at Eastern University in St. Davids, Pa. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
The Mountaineers look to improve on the success they had last weekend, where they defeated Ohio State 1-0 in an exhibition match on Sunday. The lone goal of the game came on a free kick from junior forward Andy Bevin in the 76th minute.
Following the exhibition, the Mountaineers will have a week off to prepare for their first regular season match, when they host Central Connecticut State on Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m.
