Pennesi Receives At-Large Bid

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 13, 2013) – West Virginia University wrestling junior Nathan Pennesi has received an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships.
Pennesi (141), who returned to action on Monday after suffering a broken left third metacarpal on Feb. 13, is headed to the NCAA Championships for the third time in his career.
The Latrobe, Pa., native is the team leader with 21 victories and has been ranked as high as No. 12 in the country.
This year’s NCAA Championships will be held in Des Moines, Iowa, on March 21-23.
