Bevin Earns CoSIDA Academic Honor

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Junior forward Andy Bevin of the West Virginia University men’s soccer team was named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-District 2 Men’s Soccer Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
The honorees will advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballots, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
A native of Napier, New Zealand, Bevin boasts a 3.88 grade point average (GPA) in business administration. Previously, Bevin was named to the Academic All-MAC Team (2012) and the All-Big 12 Academic At-Large Team (2012). He is also a member of the Garrett Ford Academic Honor Roll, the Dean’s List and the President’s List.
On the pitch, Bevin leads West Virginia and the Mid-American Conference in points (20) and goals (7). He also is tied for the team and conference lead with six assists.
