Three Wrestlers Remain Ranked

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Jan. 30, 2013) – Entering their Saturday showdown at No. 15 Pitt, three West Virginia University wrestlers are ranked in the multiple Division I wrestling polls.
Shane Young (125), who holds an 8-3 record this season, moved up to No. 26 from No. 31 in WrestlingReport’s poll.
Nathan Pennesi (141) holds rankings of No. 12 in Amateur Wrestling News’ poll, No. 14 in InterMat’s poll and No. 15 in WrestlingReport’s and Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine’s poll. In last weekend’s dual meets, Pennesi defeated two ranked opponents and now has a 19-7 record.
Lance Bryson (184) is ranked No. 30 by WrestlingReport. Bryson has seven wins this season.
Saturday’s match against the Panthers is set to kick off at 7 p.m., at the Fitzgerald Field House.
