Men’s Soccer at No. 17

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men’s soccer team has moved up to No. 17 in this week’s Soccer America Top 25 poll. The Mountaineers jumped one spot from No. 18 last week.
WVU (5-2-1) is coming off a 4-0 win over Mid-American Conference foe Florida Atlantic last Sunday at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. Freshman Nick Raskasky scored two goals, while senior Travis Pittman and freshman Kyle Underwood each scored one goal.
In WVU’s current three-game win streak, it has held the advantage in goals (10-2), shots (53-16), shots on goal (30-9) and corner kicks (22-6).
