No. 9 Associated Press Poll/No. 8 USA Today Coaches Poll West Virginia (1-0) faces No. 6 (FCS) James Madison (2-0) in a non-conference game on Saturday, Sept. 15, at FedExField (85,000) in Landover, Md., at 4:30 p.m. FedExField is the home of NFL’s Washington Redskins. The game will be televised live on Root Sports.
James Madison is coached by Mickey Matthews, a 1976 graduate of West Texas State. The 14th-year coach has posted a 98-61 record with the Dukes and overall as a head coach. Matthews faced West Virginia one time in 2004 and has an 0-1 mark. Holgorsen has never faced JMU.
