Men's Basketball: Forsythe Gets Waiver

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The BIG EAST Conference has approved a hardship waiver request for West Virginia University men’s basketball student-athlete Pat Forsythe.
Forsythe, a 6-foot-11 center, missed the majority of the season with a stress fracture in his right ankle. The freshman from Brunswick, Ohio, appeared in seven games this season, averaging 2.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. He had a season-high four points in games against Akron and Mississippi State and a season-high seven rebounds against Alcorn State.
Forsythe will have four seasons of eligibility remaining with the Mountaineers.
