MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia women’s soccer team closes out its spring season on Saturday, April 28, with a home match against Alderson-Broaddus. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
“It is important for us to finish our spring season on a positive note,” says coach Nikki Izzo-Brown. “We’ve had some hurdles to overcome this spring, but I’ve seen us make improvements. I saw a lot of good things last weekend at Ohio State, and I hope we build off that performance in our final match tomorrow.”
The match is the final of six spring contests for the Mountaineers, who have posted a 2-1-2 mark. Admission is free and open to the public.
WVU opens up the 2012 campaign at home against La Salle on Friday, Aug. 17.
