WVU-Connecticut Game Suspended

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – This evening’s BIG EAST baseball game between West Virginia and Connecticut has been suspended in the bottom of the seventh due to lightning and will resume Saturday, March 23 at noon.
The Huskies currently hold an 8-2 lead with two outs in the bottom of the seventh and a 1-0 count to WVU right fielder Brady Wilson. Catcher Max Nogay is currently on second base after hitting a two-out double to left center field.
Following the completion of game one, the Mountaineers and Huskies will be back in action to play game two. Game two will be streamed over MSNsportsNET.com and carried on WAJR 1440-AM with Kyle Wiggs handling the play-by-play.
