Schoenle Earns All-America Status

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Former West Virginia men’s soccer defender Eric Schoenle has been named a Senior CLASS Award Second Team All-American, as well as a TopDrawerSoccer.com Third Team All-American.
A native of Yardley, Pa., Schoenle played in 17 games during the 2012 season, leading the Mountaineers with six goals, including two game-winners.
Schoenle totaled 75 games, 14 goals, five assists, 33 points and seven game-winning goals during his prolific four-year career. Defensively, Schoenle was a leader on the backline and held opponents to an average of 9.1 shots per game and 3.9 shots on-goal per game during his tenure.
