Women’s Basketball Rises in AP Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia women’s basketball team rose from No. 17 to No. 14 in this week’s Associated Press Poll.
The Mountaineers (1-0) opened their season with a 76-47 win over UNC Wilmington. WVU enters its road-opening game tonight at 7 p.m. at Boston University.
