Women's Soccer Ranked 19th

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia women’s soccer team moved to No. 19 in this week’s Soccer America Top 25 rankings, and is ranked No. 23 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll.
The Mountaineers are coming off a 1-1 draw with 20th-ranked Baylor on Oct. 12. Junior midfielder Kara Blosser gave the Mountaineers a 1-0 lead in the 26th minute before the Bears tied the match with a goal off a free kick with 13 seconds remaining in regulation.
West Virginia returns to action on Thursday, Oct. 18, with a Big 12 Conference home match against Oklahoma. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be nationally televised by FOX Soccer as part of the NSCAA College Soccer Game of the Week.
