Former WVU All-American Carolyn Blank will be in the next issue of ESPN The Magazine, due out on newsstands Sept. 5. Carolyn is featured in a short question and answer session with a variety of professional athletics such as Miami Dolphins cornerback Vontae Davis, Toronto Blue Jays catcher Jose Molina and others.
Blank just completed her second pro season with Sky Blue of the Women’s Professional Soccer League (WPS) where she helped Sky Blue to a fifth place finish in the league standings.
Carolyn is continuing her season with the Swedish professional team Vittsjo, where she will be playing for the next 2 ½ months.
Blank is not the only former Mountaineer playing overseas. Former all-Big East forward Kim Bonilla is currently playing professionally in Australia and Megan Mischler, coming off her first season of pro soccer in the WPSL, is leaves next week to play professionally in Sweden as well.
