On Saturday, the West Virginia University men’s basketball team traveled to Vatican City for a day of sightseeing and touring.
Some of the stops the Mountaineers had included the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world.
The entire traveling party had a wonderful tour from its tour guide visiting Vatican City, the walled enclave within the city of Rome, Italy.
The Mountaineers had some free time for the rest of their Saturday to walk around Rome. On Sunday, some of the stops in the morning and early afternoon include the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Trevi Fountain.
Also on Sunday, the Mountaineers will return to the basketball court for a three-hour practice late Sunday afternoon.
Be sure to check out all of the pictures and videos we posted from today's trip on the official Facebook page of WVU Men’s Basketball.
