West Virginia University’s athletic teams aren’t the only ones performing well of late. The WVU Sports Communications Office earned several citations for its outstanding work following the recently announced CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) publications contest results, coordinated by Chad Grubbs of Hardin-Simmons University.
The Sports Communications Office earned “Best in the Nation” recognition for the 2010 women’s soccer guide, the 2010 volleyball guide and the 2011 wrestling guide.
Also, the 2010 women’s soccer cover was judged “Best in the Nation.”
The 2010-11 men’s basketball poster was judged second in the nation, while the 2010-11 men’s basketball media was judged fourth in the nation.
Meanwhile, the 2010 men’s soccer guided placed third in the nation.
A well deserved congratulations to the entire Sports Communications staff for a job well done.
