MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University men’s basketball coach Bob Huggins announced today that Dalton Pepper has asked for his release and will transfer to another school.
Pepper, a 6-foot-5 guard from Levittown, Pa., played two seasons for the Mountaineers, averaging 3.9 points as a sophomore and 3.1 points as a freshman.
“Dalton called me this afternoon asking for a release to transfer to another school,” says Huggins. “We will grant the release so he can pursue opportunities closer to home. We wish him the best.”
