Track: Miller Posts Personal-Best

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Junior Terina Miller posted a personal-best performance this weekend in the hammer throw at the Ashland Alumni Open in Ashland, Ohio, on Saturday.
Miller, a Short Creek, W.Va., native finished fifth overall, after throwing 52.60 meters, while sophomores Heather Adams finished 22nd (43.96 meters), Brittany Thomas placed 30th (42.10 meters) and junior Alanna Pritts finished 35th (38.50 meters).
In the discus, senior Brittany Fink posted a BIG EAST qualifying performance after throwing 40.90 meters to finish 14th.
West Virginia returns to action this weekend with a trip to the BIG EAST Championships on May 6-8 hosted by Villanova.
