MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – In its second tournament of the spring season, the West Virginia University volleyball team gained valuable experience as it faced competition on its home court.
“The spring is about improving, with individual and team play” coach Jill Kramer said. “We worked through a lot of different lineups today to get some people playing time in different positions and in different situations. In that regard, this weekend was really important from us.”
Throughout the day, the Mountaineers faced competition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Wheeling Jesuit, Robert Morris and Saint Francis. Each match consisted of two sets to a score of 25.
WVU will continue spring action on Sunday, April 17, with a match at James Madison.
