MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team continues action this week, splitting competition between the Penn Relays in Philadelphia and the Ashland Alumni Open in Ashland, Ohio.
The Mountaineers’ 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relays teams, along with long jumper Meghan Mock will start competition at the Penn Relays on Thursday.
WVU will then see its throwers, including Heather Adams, Brittany Fink, Terina Miller, Brittany Thomas and Alanna Pritts to compete Saturday in Ashland.
This weekend marks the last chance for Mountaineers to qualify for the BIG EAST Championships which are set to begin on Friday, May 6, at Jumbo Elliott Track in Villanova.
