Diving: Divers Complete Zones

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Junior Matt O’Neill and freshman Richard Pokorny completed their trip to the 2011 NCAA Zone “A” Diving Championships on Saturday afternoon in Annapolis, Md.
On Friday afternoon, O’Neill took 20th with a score of 256.05 points, while Pokorny finished 23rd with 253.00 points in the preliminary round of the 1-meter board competition.
In the 3-meter preliminaries on Saturday afternoon, Pokorny took 26th (261.10 points), while O’Neill finished 27th (254.60 points).
The divers are now finished competition for the year, while the swimmers still have the NCAA Championships with the women’s held from March 17-19 in Austin, Texas, and the men’s from March 24-26 in Minneapolis, Minn.
