MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia game notes for Wednesday night's Connecticut game at the WVU Coliseum that will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
• Tonight’s game will be televised by ESPN2. The MSN radio broadcast can be heard on Sirius 122 and XM 143.
• West Virginia is 46-8 in the WVU Coliseum under Bob Huggins, including a 26-8 mark in league games at home.
• WVU is 455-129 (.778) all-time at the WVU Coliseum and 76-12 at the WVU Coliseum in the last six seasons.
• The Mountaineers have won 40 of their last 51 BIG EAST games at the WVU Coliseum.
• Under Bob Huggins in the WVU Coliseum, WVU is averaging 76.1 ppg, while holding its opponents to 59.8 ppg.
• WVU’s average margin of victory at the WVU Coliseum under Bob Huggins is +16.3.
• WVU has played the fewest home games of any team in the BIG EAST with 12.
• WVU’s next win will be the 1,600th in school history. The Mountaineers are 22nd in victories among Division I schools.

• Kevin Jones became WVU’s 47th 1,000-point scorer against Seton Hall. He is now 38th with 1,085 career points.
• John Flowers is second in the BIG EAST in blocks. He ranks fifth in school history with 148 blocks in his career.
• Flowers leads the team in plus/minus ratio this season with a +210 when he is on the floor.
• WVU ranks third in the country in 3-point field goal percentage defense, holding opponents to 28.1 percent from 3.
• Joe Mazzulla is tied for second among all NCAA active players in games played with 140. Mazzulla is tied with Duke’s Kyle Singler, while Ohio State’s David Lighty is the leader with 149 games played.
• In the latest CollegeRPI.com rankings, WVU is ranked No. 4 in strength of schedule and No. 21 in the RPI. West Virginia and St. John’s are the only two teams to win three or more games against the top 10 in the RPI.
• WVU is 16-9 on March 2 and 202-143 all-time in the month of March.
