Football: USF Award Winners

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ 30-27 win at USF on Thursday, Dec. 1.
Offensive Champion – Dustin Garrison; Defensive Champion – Najee Goode; Special Teams Champion – Willie Milhouse; Offensive Scout Champion – K.J. Myers; Defensive Scout Champion – David Slonski.
With its win at USF, the Mountaineers earned a share of the 2011 BIG EAST Conference championship with Cincinnati and Louisville. That marks the seventh league title for WVU, second straight and sixth since 2003.
West Virginia will find out tonight its bowl destination and if it will represent the BIG EAST as the BCS representative when the bowl selections are announced at 8:15 p.m. on ESPN.
