MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ 24-21 win at Cincinnati on Saturday, Nov. 12.
Ofensive Champion – Geno Smith; Defensive Champion – Julian Miller; Special Teams Champion – Eain Smith; Offensive Scout Champion – Marquis Lucas; Defensive Scout Champion – Chidoziem Ezemma.
West Virginia (7-3, 3-2 BIG EAST) is off this week as it prepares for its Friday, Nov. 25 game against Pitt (5-5, 3-2 BIG EAST) in the 104th annual “Backyard Brawl” at Milan Puskar Stadium.
