Men's Basketball: TV Schedule Set

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University and the BIG EAST have announced the television schedule for the 2011-12 men’s basketball season.
The Mountaineers will have all 31 of their regular season games broadcast, including at least 16 regular season games on national television. WVU will have four games on ESPN (Kent State, Pitt, Louisville and Marquette), six games on ESPN2 (vs. Kansas State, Miami, vs. Baylor, at Seton Hall, at Connecticut and at Notre Dame) and five games on ESPNU (at Mississippi State, Cincinnati, at St. John’s, at Syracuse and Notre Dame). The game at Pitt will be televised by ESPN or ESPN2.
ESPN3.com will broadcast the opener against Oral Roberts and the Alcorn State game. The BIG EAST Network will televise 11 West Virginia contests, with three of those (Georgetown, at Rutgers and at Providence) being televised as the BIG EAST Game of the Week. The Marshall game will be televised by the Capital Classic Network, and the Missouri State game in Las Vegas will be broadcast on iBNsports.com. The exhibition game against Northern Kentucky will be available for live streaming on MSNsportsNET.com.
