MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University Football Coach Bill Stewart has announced that two additional players have enrolled in school for the spring 2011 semester.
Vance Roberts, DB, 5-10, 170, Washington, D.C./Dunbar HS
Coached by Craig Jefferies at Dunbar High … helped lead team to an 8-4 record in 2010, losing in the state championship … 2010 Washington Post Honorable Mention all-Met … played in the 2010 NUC All-World Gridiron Classic ... rated No. 1 on the Rivals.com District of Columbia Postseason Top 5 … rated No. 16 cornerback on Rivals.com … also rated No. 212 on the Rivals.com Rivals250 … finished senior and junior season with 93 tackles, 12 pass breakups, five interceptions and 14 punt returns for touchdowns … also had 15 receptions for 273 yards and one touchdown as a senior … brother of WVU classmate Vernard Roberts … also offered by Miami (Fla.), Connecticut, Michigan State New Mexico, Rutgers, Syracuse and Wisconsin.
